Real space is the term used for anything that exists or occurs outside of the Ravel. It operates under a consistent set of principles known collectively as laws of physics which all mass within real space must obey. In contrast to the Ravel, real space is consistent, predictable, and intuitively understandable to organisms extant in it; even without an academic knowledge of physics, any aware enough organism can see the consistency that objects fall in the presence of gravity.
Macrocosm theorists sometimes argue that "real space" should not be called as such and is simply another Braid of the Ravel with life evolved to consider its principles "normal," but the term retains use both in common speech and in academic writing for its brevity and narrow concept.
