48-5: Pursuer is the designation given to a verge god with records indicating previous habitation throughout regions of the planet Beyné and surrounding space. It is known to have been an icon of worship to a civilization of kronakkos that idolized its hunting prowess and bestial nature, viewing it as the purest example of the natural world to still exist in the increasingly modernized worlds throughout Ealdremen. They called this god Theriasor and became known as valtheri, dedicants to the verge god. It is thought that numina of 48-5: Pursuer resulted in a shift in the genetic code and physiology of the valtheri, eventually creating an entirely new species that resembled kronakkos, but was genetically distinct.
In worship of 48-5: Pursuer, the people that became the valtheri regarded this "Theriasor" as a being of duality in perpetual conflict and balance with itself. When this god was attacked during the Watershed and supposedly killed, in contrast to other "slain" verge gods, 48-5: Pursuer did not seem to remain dead. Valtheri traditional beliefs suggest that only "part" of this god died, this "partial-unlife" of 48-5: Pursuer causing the eventual Valtheri Sequence-XX Extinction and the subsequent decline of the species' numbers.
