01-4: Lambency is the designation given to the first known verge god to be documented and defined. At the time, the verge god was known by the name given to it by mortal devout, Elmvyet, and became known by its now-modern designation after verge god designation was codified with the discovery of other verge gods. 01-4: Lambency was characterized in surviving reports and religions as a "font of light" with a peaceable demeanor; much information about the god went missing after the Watershed, during which 01-4: Lambency was slain.
The death of this verge god is thought to have been the catalyst for the formation of the Sallow Eyes, a fanatical group dedicated to the extermination of the Iconoclasts and their former allies responsible for the death of the god.
