Evidence of it can be found in older languages or older forms of modern languages from before the Millennial Calm, which corroborates historical accounts that the Gerualdi Union tended to maintain neutrality in most interplanetary conflicts following the end to the War to Shatter the Meteors in 2795 CGC. However, linguists and historians alike, typically from Estvoldian backgrounds but also sometimes Sigzlorian, have demonstrated evidence that even the historical Gerualdi Union renowned for its neutrality held colonies on other planets and exercised its financial might to avoid bloodshed, but still had a colonial history perhaps comparable to Estvoled that simply went unchecked because their "invasions" were done with trade deals and politicking rather than warfare.
